Garment of praise

Friends,

Simeon, one of our residents, is a talented and industrious fashion designer whose brand is TayFlocka. We recently had the blessing of meeting with Robert Ruiz, owner of The Melrose Vintage, who generously shared his encouragement and wisdom with Simeon, laying out various paths to growth and success in the fashion industry.

We were introduced to Robert through supporters like you who know the story of each young men at Orchard and who share their stories with your circle of friends and connections. We love the way God connects people and resources through you.

When I think about Simeon’s passion for fashion, I think of one of the works of God, proclaimed and described in Isaiah 61:3,

[to bestow] a garment of praise

instead of a spirit of despair…

What Simeon hopes to do through bringing beauty into this world, we hope to do at Orchard for each young men who journeys with us. Thank you for being such an important part of that journey.
