Come find out how you can help

Donate Financially

Our young adult men are focused either on finding and keeping full time work towards permanent housing or on completing an academic program towards better paying employment. Your financial support provides significant material needs and the mentoring help that they need to be successful in their areas of focus.

Meeting regularly with the live-in residence manager, each young adult man receives an individualized plan of action to help them tackle weekly needs like meal planning or ad hoc needs like vehicle maintenance or filing taxes.

Sustainability Support Levels

Tillers: one-time gift of any amount

Whether $5 or $500, each dollar equips Orchard to provide our guys with the dignity of safe and stable housing, empowering life skills training, and meaningful connections to our local communities. See below for the support made possible by your generous donations.

Planters: $35/month

$35/month provides basic foodstuff for our young adult men such as oils and spices and condiments, milk and eggs, and cereal and rice and pasta. This can also provide individual mentoring opportunities outside the house for developing deeper trust with the young men.

Pruners: $75/month

$75/month provides for empowerment needs such as a budgeting app subscription or one therapy session, a pair of pants for work or an outing for a group bonding activity, or gas allowance or an oil change.

Harvesters: $125/month

$125/month helps furnish a bedroom for a new resident (mattress, bed frame, bedding, dresser, desk, night stand, etc.) and a one-time mental health assessment. This can also provide (1) young man with 6 months’ worth of mental health care.

Master Gardeners: $250/month

$250/month helps furnish an apartment for a graduate (refrigerator, microwave, cutlery, cookware, drinkware, dinnerware, pots & pans, dining table and chairs, etc.). This can also provide (1) young man with a year’s worth of mental health care.

Farmers Market (Corporate): $500/month

$500/month can help ensure Orchard Community’s financial sustainability and support outreach efforts to help equip young adults in the community with life skills.
