Michael has lived in Whittier for over a decade, serves as a leader in a local church, and has a passion for helping young men launch into adulthood. He has experience housing young men and assisting them with adulting skills like finding employment, doing the dishes, and honoring parents. His happy places are the kitchen, swing dance floor, and fruit orchards.
Veronica grew up in the Whittier area. She hosts a local community garden at her home and teaches math at Rio Hondo Community College. She has a passion for building communities that support each other and a heart for marginalized communities. Veronica enjoys her cats and any kind of dancing, especially swing!
Ericka has lived in Whittier since 2016 and works as a Registered Nurse. She has a desire to help those who face housing insecurity and believes it takes a wholistic approach when offering help. She is excited to partner with Orchard to offer young men the support they need to become their best selves. Ericka is married with 2 grown children and likes to knit and read in her spare time.
